Fishing Derby, Presented by PRPD

This special fishing contest is open to all boys & girls 15 Years & under. Register May 3 at the Fishing Derby. The pond will be stocked and prizes will be awarded in several categories. The season concludes with Ernesto Lecuona’s, Andalucia Suite, Johannes Brahms, Academic Festival Overture and The Poet and Peasent Overture by Franz Suppe. Chocolate Fest, Presented by the Boys & Girls Club of Paradise Ridge

Chocolate paradise in Paradise! A Chocolate extravaganza at the Terry Ashe Park in Paradise on Saturday 13th. This is the place to indulge your love of all things chocolate. Events include a Chocolate Queen Contest and Dance on Thursday 11th and Chocolate & Wine Tasting on Friday 12th to kick off the festivities. On Saturday morning the festival will start with a pancake breakfast. Throughout the day there will be entertainment, ice cream sundaes for sale, children’s games as well as a chocolate pie-eating contest, Oreo cookie stacking contest and much more.
