The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks is a national fraternal order & social club founded in 1868. The Paradise Lodge was chartered in 1957, and continues to take a prominent role in the improvement of community life by practicing the four virtues of charity, justice, brotherly love, and fidelity. Many Elks activities are open to the general public, including Bingo (most Sunday afternoons), Pizza & Pasta Dinner & Dancing (last Friday), and Fizz Breakfast & Dancing (second Sunday). A semi-annual yard sale (May & September) is also open to the public. See the Chamber calendar for specifics.
Lunch served to members and guests, Tuesday through Friday, 11 AM to 2 PM. Guests: Simply ring the bell at the front door and you'll be welcomed into the lodge.
Hall rental facility, small to large groups. The Grand Hall accommodates up to 300 guests, includes a stage, a sound system (plug in your device), and a dance floor. The Charter Room accommodates up to 100 guests, includes a stage, a sound system, and a dance floor. Large picnic area also available, includes band area & dance floor, food service area, large BBQ, horse shoe pit, group fire pit, & lots of shade. We can provide microphones and podiums. Full catering service available.
RV Park available to Elks members, with 50- and 30-Amp sites, full hook ups, restrooms, gym with showers, free WiFi, & lots of shade. First-come first-serve for one or two rigs. Groups of three or more rigs can make a reservation by calling the Elks office (530) 877-3977.
The entrance into Elk Lane is on Clark Road between Elliott & Bille, across from the carwash.
