The Gold Nugget Museum was named for the 54-pound gold nugget found in locally in 1859. Our main museum are currently under construction and has limited exhibit activity of the Paradise Ridge. rotating exhibits include mining, clothing, Maidu Native Americans, railroads, and the pioneer activity through the century. While the main museum is currently under design and construction, the Paradise Depot Museum, 5770 Black Olive Drive (Paradise Community Park) will be open periodically, and as Docents activity increases.
