Paradise Garden Tour
June 7-8, 2008
Did you ever wonder what the Garden of Eden must have
looked like? Well, six dedicated gardeners in
Paradise will open their gardens to show you their
interpretation. The 16th annual Paradise Garden Club
Tour will be held 10am - 4pm on Saturday, June 7th, and
noon-4 pm on Sunday, June 8th. The proceeds will
benefit Butte College Horticulture students, and will
support various community beautification projects.
Garden highlights include: a luxury bed and breakfast with
friendly llamas, a gold mining theme, fragrant deer
resistant herb garden, square foot raised vegetables beds.
succulents and seeds, and vintner artifacts transformed
into planters. Native oaks, pines and canyon view
are thrown in for a definite dash of ahhhh...
Included with the $15 pictorial booklet ticket is a map
with clear instructions to each garden, access to the huge
plant sale, composting demonstration, free refreshments,
and benefit drawing. Tickets may be purchased a the
hour homes as well as these fine vendors:
Paradise: Mendon's Nursery, Paradise Garden, Reid's
Nursery as well as Country Touch, Fir Street Gallery,
Grapes & Ivy, Hallmark Cards, and Heaven Scent Candles.
