Summer
Art Camp at
Gold Nugget Museum
July 7-11 = Children ages 8-13
July 14-18 = Children ages 14-18
The Gold Nugget Museum presents a summer art camp where
students will draw, paint, and do craft arts. The
instructor, Judy Carter, is a professional artist and
educator. Lessons will follow the themes of Maidu
Native Americans, the 49ers, mining, settlers and
agriculture of the Paradise Ridge.
Classes begin at 8am and finish at 11:30am. The cost
for a full week of lessons is $50 per student.

Gold Nugget Museum is located at 502 Pearson Road in

August classes will be scheduled if there is a demand.

Bunco Party presented by the Magalia
Pines Lions Club
July 12th, 6:30pm to 9pm
Desabla Volunteer Fire Department. $10 buy-in, $50
first place prize. Refreshments such as trail mix,
sodas, and water will be offered. Come have a good
time and help out the community!
