Arts, Entertainment & Events
Performing arts fans will find a plethora of entertainment at the Paradise Performing Arts Center, and Theatre on the Ridge, the longest running community theatre in the Northstate. Northern California Ballet attracts dancers from all over the world to train and perform with local youth. Donn Thomson leads a lively and thriving Square Dance group at the Vets' Hall. Paradise Symphony Orchestra presents several concerts each season. We even have a seven-plex Cinema!
The natural beauty of our mountain home entices artists, painters, and photographers. Look for events at the appropriately-named Chapelle de L'Artiste Chateau & Retreat, our spectacular artists’ hideaway and event venue.
Paradise is home to several festivals, arts and craft shows, and annual events. Three large festivals feature vendor booths, entertainment and attractions to delight young and old alike. Gold Nugget Days celebrates our rich Gold Rush history with several events culminating in a parade that's everything a small town parade should be. Learn more from the Gold Nugget Museum, and download a parade entry form form. The Paradise Chocolate Fest unites chocolate lovers, vendors, wine merchants, bikers and kids young and old for a festival encompassing several events that raise funds to support youth on the Ridge.
Johnny Appleseed days, proudly sponsored by the Paradise Ridge Chamber of Commerce since 1937, celebrates the agricultural history of the Paradise Ridge. More information and vendor applications here.
